One of the most important programs that our travelers really enjoy is a visit to Baņos, which is located at an elevation of 5,910 ft. at three hours drive from Quito, in a lush ecological transition zone between the highlands and the Amazon Basin jungles. Renowned for its thermal waters fed by the active volcano Tungurahua (Little Hell in the native Quichua language). Baņos is one of the most popular resort cities in Ecuador. Walkers can enjoy the Baņos area as there are several short hikes to neighboring villages, beautiful waterfalls and special look out points, beginning is the city.
