RAFTING A thrilling, yet not difficult adventure will take us into a subtropical cloud forest along the Quijos River on the eastern slopes of the Andes. For the beginner, rafting with instructors provides an introduction to the incomparable sport of rafting with oars. For the more experienced, river running is in short-paddle rafts for enjoying the most demanding challenges. Rapids are primarily class III and IV; for very seasoned rafters, we have class V rapids runs also. Staying at our remote riverside campsite is itself a special attraction. Two-day programs are offered for those who want to experience their first rafting thrills. Longer programs to four days are available for the seasoned rafter. All programs include transportation, tented campsite accommodations, meals, guides and instructors.
