FISHING

DEEP SEA FISHING (7 days)

This deep sea-fishing program includes hotel accommodations, meals, air tickets, and charter fishing boat, crew, tackle and bait. Your are welcome to enjoy our beautiful Ecuadorian Pacific coast.

Day 1. - Arrival to Quito. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2. - Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take our flight to Guayaquil where we will take our transportation to Salinas. In the coast of this beautiful city striped marlin, Pacific sailfish and swordfish are in residence year-round. The giant black marlin is abundant in January-March. Salinas produced the world record of a 2,000 pounds of black marlin there is always the pacific big-eye tuna and the dorado, a terrific fighting fish and excellent food fish. Lunch, dinner and overnight in Salinas.

Day 3. - Breakfast. Full day fishing in the coast of Salinas. Lunch. Dinner and overnight in Salinas.

Day 4. - Breakfast. Today we will drive north of Salinas for about 3 ½ hours to Manta, a beautiful city located in the Manabi Province. The waters of Manta have recently produced a world record blue marlin of over 1,000 pounds and there are many others waiting to be caught. Lunch, dinner and overnight in Manta.

Day 5. - Breakfast. Full day fishing in the waters of Manta. Lunch. Dinner and overnight in Manta.

Day 6. - Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Quito. Overnight.

Day 7. - Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the international flight or extension program.

FISHING IN THE ANDES (10 days)

The following program was prepared for fishermen who would like to find mainly brown, brook or rainbow trout in streams and lakes which are usually above 6,000 ft. elevation with some of the best waters between 10,000 and 12,000 ft. surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains.

Day 1. - Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2. - Breakfast. In the morning we will drive to the north of Quito to the San Marcos Lake which is considered one of the best lakes for trout and native species fishing. Lunch, dinner and overnight at our Camp 1.

Day 3. - Breakfast. Full day fishing in this beautiful natural area. Lunch. Return to Quito late in the afternoon for overnight.

Day 4. - Breakfast. Early morning we will drive south of Quito to the lakes of Ozogoche, which are located south of Riobamba. This is one of the most important lake areas of Ecuador, at over 10,000-ft elevation. Here surrounded by Spectacular Mountain scenery we can fish the rainbow trout. Lunch, dinner and overnight at our Camp 2.

Day 5. - Breakfast. Full day fishing in this important lake area. Lunch, dinner and overnight in our Camp 3.

Day 6. - Breakfast. We will spend the morning fishing more in this area. Lunch. Drive to Cuenca for dinner and overnight.

Day 7. - Breakfast. Early morning we'll go to the lakes of Cajas. This National Park has 200 natural lakes and ponds at an altitude of over 10,000 ft. Best fishing is for rainbow and salmon trout. Lunch dinner and overnight at our Camp 4.

Day 8. - Breakfast. Full day fishing in this protected reserve. Lunch. PM. Return to Cuenca for dinner and overnight.

Day 9. - Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Quito. Overnight.

Day 10. - Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the international flight or extension program.
